Members agreed to support the application to return Upton View, the cottage next door to the Roadside Inn, to residential use. This support followed assurances by the inn’s owner that there would be a right of access to the car park spaces incorporated within the planning application. He also assured those present that, despite unfounded rumours within the village, he had not purchased the business with a view to closing it and re-developing the site.
Once again, sincere thanks go to those businesses and organisations that have assisted with the cost of our Christmas Trees. They are A. J. Brett (General Builder); Peter Attrill Garden Services; Russell Page; Flamingo Park (Seaview) Ltd; Vic’s Stores; Sandham Office Services; Duver Enterprises; Mr R A Palmer; Sea View Yacht Club.
Residents are welcome at the next meeting which takes place in the Masonic Hall, Seaview at 7.00pm on Monday 20th February 2012 when, as always, there will be opportunities to ask questions or make comments on matters of local concern
